Limbaugh: 'What’s the Difference Between Stormy and Kamala Harris?'

Harris, a former prosecutor and attorney general of California, took care to note that her support for "smart gun safety laws" did not imply disagreement with the tenets of the Second Amendment.

"It's a flawed system".

The California senator on Monday whipped through Iowa, skipping more conventional interactions with voters for a nationally broadcast town hall that included questions from Iowans. Harris was asked, "You're an African-American woman, but you are also Indian American". "They seemed to be under the misimpression that I could be bullied into submission", she scoffs.

It's a burgeoning field that may ultimately feature dozens of candidates seeking to oust President Donald Trump.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) has the ideal response to anyone wondering if a woman can really beat President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

She was passionate and definitive when she answered a question from a recipient of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, commonly called "Dreamers", who told Harris that she didn't want to be used as a bargaining chip in the negotiations over a border wall. She reportedly drew more than 20,000 people to the event.

Listing the various proposals that have been introduced, she argued that legislators have no shortage of good ideas: "What's missing is for people in the United States Congress to act the right way". There's room for an anti-Trump centrist in this electorate - and that running space has been created by a Democratic Party beholden to its radical base.

Harris, who has been compared to Barack Obama, launched her presidential bid to high emotion in her hometown of Oakland on Sunday local time.

Senators Elizabeth Warren, of MA, and Kirsten Gillibrand, of NY, have announced exploratory committees. Later, she expresses her hope to be "a joyful warrior", a phrase that harkens back to the last century, and perhaps foreshadows a fierce fight for the country's top office. Bernie Sanders is one of them. These polls do not mean that Trump will lose the 2020 election.

During her Iowa visit, some of Warren's stops took her to conservative parts of the state, as she sought to prove her comfort outside urban America and show stamina for what promises to be a long slog.

Doctors and hospitals may face pay cuts, according to a 2017 analysis from The New York Times, since the government-sponsored program typically pays less for services than private companies.

Harris succinctly responded with, "How do I describe myself? But I will always speak with decency and moral clarity and treat all people with dignity and respect".

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) on Monday endorsed Sen.

Perhaps the biggest question is how she will stand up to Trump when she becomes his target.
