The White House confirmed last night that president Trump will be traveling the country for a string of 11 rallies in eight states before the midterm elections, including Cleveland this Monday.

It was only a matter of time before Democratic rising star Andrew Gillum and former President Barack Obama's path's crossed.

The locations of Trump's rallies are a sign that Republicans are trying to motivate conservative voters to go to the polls to support GOP gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis and U.S. Senate candidate Rick Scott in the November 6 elections. Trump will be in Fort Myers with GOP nominee Ron DeSantis and Gov. Rick Scott on Halloween, and will be in Pensacola Saturday. He visited OH earlier this month to promote Republican gubernatorial candidate Mike DeWine, U.S. Senate candidate Jim Renacci, and congressman Steve Chabot. Southwest Florida and the Panhandle are two party strongholds where Republicans look to run up large vote margins.

Trump's campaign said Sunday that he will hold rallies in Florida and West Virginia later this week. Of course, blue wins in the upcoming election would allow Democrats to remain competitive in OH, and potentially change the direction of Ohio's electoral power in 2020.

Gillum's campaign didn't respond when the Miami Herald asked last week if Obama would stump with the Florida gubernatorial candidate, who last week appeared with Hillary Clinton at fundraisers.

Trump has also fielded Vice President Mike Pence and a host of surrogates to campaign for the Republican candidates and going to key districts and key states to support them.
