  • Tom Arnold Claims ‘Apes**t’ Mark Burnett Attacked Him At Pre-Emmys Party

"& choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain, I'm waiting for LAPD". Downey in her tweet wrote, "Is your TV show worth it Tom?". I'm filing police report & suing you for defamation'.

With The Hunt for the Trump Tapes debuting on Viceland on Tuesday, there's also the possibility that the fight between Arnold and Burnett was a stunt. Burnett is also reportedly sitting on secret tapes from the set of the show where Trump regularly uses epithets like the n-word - which, if revealed publicly, would be very bad for the president. Both Burnett and Trump have denied the existence of any such tapes.

According to Arnold, both he and Burnett arrived to the "Evening Before Emmy" party, a fundraiser hosted by the Motion Picture Television Fund, at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Tom Arnold took to Twitter Sunday night to accuse Mark Burnett of assaulting him.

Arnold has been going after Burnett over his association with Trump and his hand in producing "The Apprentice" for some time.

Soon after, Arnold's pal Patton Oswalt tweeted a photo of them together along with this caption: "I'm with @TomArnold, everyone". Arnold maintains that Burnett has all the unedited, unaired Apprentice tapes, and Burnett says that he "does not have the ability nor the right to release footage or other material from The Apprentice", and that the footage is MGM's property. A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed to ET on Monday that a report for battery was made by Arnold against Burnett.

Since the incident, there have been a few updates from other Hollywood celebrities in attendance who either witnessed the altercation to some extent, or saw Arnold after. He's okay. We gotta protect this brutal angel. Reps for Burnett and Downey declined to comment.

Discussing last night's incident with a group of party attendees, we hear an excited Arnold was asked if he actually had any Apprentice tapes of Trump and answered in the affirmative.
