What’s in Trump’s executive order on family separation?

  • On the border Melania Trump visits the Upbring New Hope Children Center run by the Lutheran Social Services of the South in McAllen Texas an unexpected visit the day after her husband ended the policy of family separation at the border

The First Lady appears to have made quite the statement while making her way to visit immigrant children being detained at the Texas border in a coat with the words 'I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?' across the back. So why, on the way to visit a shelter for migrant children separated from their parents at the Texas-Mexico border, would she wear such a thing?

As images of Mrs Trump surfaced online, social media was swamped with users in disbelief over her choice of jacket. Employing his usual spin, President Donald Trump cast the jacket as a media critique. Photographers snapped her in the jacket as she was boarding a plane in Maryland. "And if her standard is that, then it's up to the rest of us who use fashion or T-shirts.to be socially conscious and to answer when people misstep or do what the first lady did".

"After today's important visit to Texas, I hope the media isn't going to choose to focus on her wardrobe", Ms Grisham said.

First lady Melania Trump arrived in McAllen, Texas on Thursday to visit the border area amid the administration's crisis over the separation of families, her office said. The first lady's visit came the morning after President Donald Trump signed an executive order halting the practice of separating families that entered the US illegally. "When an issue impacts our consumer, we stop trying to sell her jeans and start trying to make her life better".

Melania broke her silence on the detentions which have seen immigrant children separated from their families earlier this week.

The first lady spent approximately 75 minutes at the shelter, according to pool reports. Her spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, denied that there was any "hidden message" in the clothing choice, while President Trump later tweeted that the dismissive note was an attack on "fake news media."

The zero tolerance policy involves all adults who cross the border illegally being sent for prosecution, meaning children are taken into the care of the government while cases are processed.

'Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!'

And on Sunday, her spokesman said she hoped the crisis would be solved 'with heart, ' sparking widespread speculation that the First Lady disagreed with her husband's own policy.

And after yesterday's "unexpected" visit to the child internment camps, she didn't express disgust, concern, or an ounce of compassion.
