R. Kelly is Being Sued for Sexual Battery

  • R Kelly hit with another sexual assault lawsuit as woman claims he gave her herpes

Faith Rodgers also claims to have epilepsy and is accusing R. Kelly of plying her with alcohol, knowing that it aggravated her "epileptic condition".

R. Kelly often kept her locked in secluded areas to punish and control her, said Ms Faith Rodgers, who filed a lawsuit in a NY court against the singer on Monday.

Faith Rodgers says she was mentally, physically and verbally abused by R Kelly, who she was in a relationship with for nearly a year, according to the lawsuit filed yesterday. They began to message each other frequently until R. Kelly flew her to one of his shows in NY.

Weeks later, Kelly arranged for Rodgers to travel to NY for one of his concerts and put her up in a hotel, she says.

Representatives for R. Kelly and his label RCA Records did not respond to requests for comment.

Kelly has denied sexual assault allegations, and in response to Sampson and Jones' claims, his publicist stated, "R. Kelly has close friendships with a number of women who are strong, independent, happy, well cared for and free to come and go as they please".

Just last week, Spotify removed R. Kelly from all of its playlists as part of a new "hate content and hateful conduct" policy. She said that the singer gave her herpes without telling her he had the disease, and he used the infection as a means to control her.

Wendy Williams thinks R. Kelly just 'needs to lie on that sword, ' after he was accused yet again of alleged sexual, mental and physical abuse by a young woman. Kelly is accused of engaging in the longterm sexual and emotional abuse of a female fan that regularly included the woman being punished for not sexually satisfying the singer. "And he's like, 'You know, if you're really, you know, 16, that you can tell Daddy, right?'". She claims the sex was "painful and abusive".

Rodgers' complaint outlines other disturbing behaviour, claiming that Kelly would lock her in rooms, studios and vehicles as punishment for "failing to please defendant sexually". But he has this type of, like, intimidation right off the bat. The singer filed suit against bosses at Comcast Spectacor past year (17), accusing them of breach of contract over a show at the Macon Coliseum in February, 2017.

Amid the controversy to #muterkelly, in late April promoters cancelled a concert in Chicago, his hometown. He was acquitted of all charges in 2008 and continued to rack up hits and sell out stadiums around the country. The next morning after she arrived, Rodgers claims Kelly showed up to her hotel room.
