The 19-year-old victor of the BBC Young Musician 2016 award is among artists and choral groups who will perform at the wedding in Windsor Castle on May 19.

As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry prepare to walk down the aisle on May 19, Kensington Palace has shared details about the music for their royal wedding service at St. George's Chapel.

Network USA, which airs the series, said on its website: "We know there's another wedding on the horizon for Ms Markle but just seeing her here in all of her bridal resplendence is a fairytale come true".

The music will be under the direction of James Vivian, Director of Music, St George's Chapel, including the Choir of St George's Chapel, and a selection of choral groups, soloists, and musicians. And from what we can tell, she already fits the part one hundred percent!

Another of the confirmed performers is Sheku Kanneh-Mason, a 19-year-old cellist who won BBC Young Musician 2016 and made his BBC Proms debut the following year.

He was selected after Prince Harry saw him play at a charity event last June. On Tuesday, Kanneh-Mason said he could not contain his excitement after receiving a call from "Ms. Markle". I was bowled over when Ms Markle called me. Additionally, an orchestra - comprised of members from the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, English Chamber Orchestra, and the Philharmonia - will perform with Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas.

As someone who is also biracial like Meghan, I understand the struggles of having a hair texture that likely involves straightening with heat or expensive products in order to get it to look the way she has it. "We are also looking forward to welcoming to St. George's musical colleagues from near and far who will be performing at this very special and joyful occasion".
