  • Taylor Swift has dealt with stalkers on both coasts in recent months

Scarily, this is the third incident involving Taylor and her properties this month alone.

A man was arrested yesterday for breaking into Taylor Swift's apartment in New York City, according the NYPD.

Sources tell CBS2 the pop star was not home at the time.

She's been the target of several scary run-ins lately.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, police found Roger Alvarado asleep in the superstar's home in the Tribeca neighborhood when they responded to reports of a break-in.

Alvarado was then charged with stalking, burglary, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. The 22-year-old man broke into her home by allegedly climbing up a ladder and smashing one of her windows with his hand.

By the time police arrived, they had found that he had taken a shower before hopping into bed. A witness did see Alvarado break in to the apartment though and called police. Back in February, Alvarado was arrested at that same NY address for using a shovel to break open the front door.

He claimed he had driven from Colorado to meet Taylor, and police allegedly found latex gloves, an empty gun holster, black rope and a knife in his auto.

The suspect, Julius Alexander Sandrock, was arrested on Saturday and taken into custody for felony stalking.

A couple of weeks ago, a guy was arrested trying to scale the wall of Taylor Swift's mansion in Beverly Hills while screaming the singer's name.
