Brock Lesnar Signs New Deal With WWE After WrestleMania

  • Brock Lesnar signs new WWE deal- inserts UFC clause

Nakamura has now lost both his WWE Championship opportunities (the other against Jinder Mahal) so a change in direction should be beneficial for him.

Strowman battled champions Sheamus and Cesaro on his own, and finished it off with a running powerslam on Cesaro to win the titles for him and Nicholas. Although Cena's talking skills and hard work in the ring could win over a given crowd on a given night, many fans who wanted an edgier, less kid-friendly pro wrestling product found Cena's sometimes corny and cartoonish Boy Scout superhero persona compared unfavorably to "Attitude Era" antiheroes like Steve Austin and The Rock. We saw something similar in the main event of WrestleMania 31, but this was taken to a new level as Reigns' crimson mask was a memorable image and Vince's thoughts on this is said to be known.

Mahal pinned Rusev to lift the title.

Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to give the former a winning start in the WWE. But that may not be Lesnar's only big fight over the coming months.

The Undertaker defeated Cena in less than three minutes, leaving the crowd and television viewers very surprised. It was an outstanding sequence of events and the match did everything it needed to do in a wonderful piece of storytelling.

Daniel Bryan returned and now Sami Zane and Kevin Owens are kapoot until Raw hires them. They're paying for that mistake now. Jax had been the brunt of bullying and body-shaming for weeks, so seeing her finally reach the mountaintop was an incredible moment.

AJ Styles. Low blow aside, it was a good night for Styles.

The Undertaker ran through his signature moves including Old School as the unprepared Cena struggled. A stunning debut, puzzling and unpopular results, and the return of multiple legends to in-ring action.

-The mixed tag team match it was easily the highlight of the night. His dream of winning the WWE title will have to wait. It was something to behold to put things mildly.

The outcome seems the easiest to pick out of all the matches at Wrestlemania 34, given the WWE's insistent years-long push of the Reigns character combined with all the real-world noise being made about Brock Lesnar's impending return to the ultra violence of the UFC. This was bad and there's no other way to describe it. Lesnar has held onto the Universal Championship for over a year now, as he first won it by defeating Goldberg in a brief match at WrestleMania 33. Lesnar did win, but it turns out that he might have made someone rather unhappy.

Despite that, most of the attention has fallen on the speculation regarding what took place backstage after the main event. There is a lot to look forward to moving forward. And Rollins goes home the victor. How will Asuka respond to losing? But it will be interesting to see where it goes from here for these two.

Lesnar is set to defend his Universal Title against Roman Reigns in a huge cage match.
