He said: '[I've] never been hated by the whole world and it's been something to definitely overcome.

"It's been tough, because ironically I'm being told to commit suicide myself", Paul told GMA.

The game, a free download named The Suicide Forest, is a crude parody of the video.

"Things obviously changed pretty drastically and quickly", Paul said explaining to Strahan he originally planned to go camping for a night and shoot a fun vlog in the forest.

"I believe that it happened for a reason". "It's the most terrible, horrific things".

"It's not like i'm a bad guy. It was 100 yards away from the parking lot".

After Paul posted the controversial video, YouTube said it violated their policies and suspended his account, but he returned to the platform with a video on suicide prevention last week.

YouTube may have scaled back its relationship with Logan Paul following his "suicide forest" video, but has the controversy actually helped his brand?

Paul, who uploaded a video from Japan's Aokigahara forest about a month ago (the area is notorious for drawing people who are considering ending their lives), has since been on an apology tour, and vowed to donate $1 million to suicide prevention efforts as recently as a week ago. "Creating content to make people smile and laugh, that's what makes me happy".

"Dude, this has been, to be honest with you, the hardest time of my life". I will think twice in the future about what I post.

Google Preferred dropped Paul from their service after he came under fire for the December 31 post - and the vlogger told Strahan that the situation impacts his bottom line.

Whether or not he likes it, children are watching his content, though Paul thinks it's a parent's job to monitor what their kids are watching.

"One of the things I'm learning is that crisis passes, and for anyone suffering I think it's important to know that", he went on.
