Police are investigating a suspicious package sent to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin Saturday.

The LAPD bomb squad was at 965 Bel Air Road where a suspicious package was found at about 7:40 p.m Saturday night.

The bomb squad X-rayed the package, which was wrapped in holiday paper, and opened it to reveal the contents, she said.

No evacuations were ordered, but the street was closed while authorities examined the large box.

Before being sworn in as part of the Trump Administration in February, Mnuchin worked as the finance chairman for Donald Trump's campaign for president. As it turns out, the "gift" ending up being a nice package of horse poop.

LAPD officers, the bomb squad and the Secret Service poured into the area.

There was also a Christmas card with the present, which made references to Mnuchin, President Trump and the president's tax bill.

A neighbor discovered the package and alerted authorities, according to media reports.

A news helicopter hovering above the home captured footage of police appearing to examine the unwrapped box. Most famously, he was pictured showing off money with his signature on them to his wife, Louise Linton.
