The Obamas have been touted as likely invitees to Prince Harry's forthcoming wedding to Meghan Markle.

In an upcoming special for BBC Radio 4's Today, Prince Harry got the chance to interview former U.S. President Barack Obama as BBC's guest editor.

Prince Harry has interviewed Barack Obama.

"Do I need the British accent?"

Without hesitation the prince quips back: "No not at all, but if you start using long pauses you're probably going to get "the face" he says with a mock-stern face. It will also be available as a podcast. The Obama family stopped by the palace during an global diplomatic mission, and the prince recently flew over to the states for a visit with the former First Lady.

Obama asked Harry about "the face", and Harry swept his arm down the length of his face and pouted, sporting a judgmental look toward the former president.

"You're excited about this, I'm nervous about this that's what's quite amusing".

"No, no. Let's keep it this way". "I much prefer that".

Though the sneak preview content was light, Kensington Palace said that Harry's 40-minute segment with Obama will focus "on their shared interest in building platforms for the next generation of young leaders".

Harry was interviewing Barry as part of his guest editorship of the programme, recording the interview during the Invictus Games in Toronto in September.
