  • London civil claim lodged against Weinstein

Weinstein pulled Kadian into the bathroom, where he forced himself on her, the lawsuit alleges.

According to the suit, which was obtained by Buzzfeed News, Noble alleges the disgraced film producer lured her to the French Rivera in 2014 with "the promise of a film role".

Hollywood and beyond have been rocked by the scandal, with producer Harvey Weinstein now under police investigation for a wide range of sexual misconduct allegations.

She waived her right to anonymity to launch the first action seeking damages for a "series of sexual assaults".

During the encounter, the lawsuit said, Weinstein put Noble on the phone with a producer from his company who told her to be "a good girl and do whatever he wished" and if she did "they would work" with her further.

"Harvey Weinstein was able to force or coerce Kadian into sexual activity in his hotel room because of his promise to her of a film role and use of his influence on her behalf", states Noble's 11-page federal complaint, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NY.

The complaint states that when the two both found themselves in France soon after, Weinstein 'asked Kadian to come to his hotel room to review her reel with her and discuss further steps in securing the role he had previously targeted for her'.

Kadian Noble, 31, said Weinstein groomed her in London by promising a role in a film before attacking her in the French city.

The plaintiff's lawyer, Jeffrey Herman, said he knew of only one other case that attempted to use the law in a similar way but it failed to prove the underlying allegations, meaning the expanded interpretation of the law went untested.

Weinstein then pulled down Noble's shirt and forced his leg between her legs, and rubbed her genitals and began masturbating, the suit said.

The suit argues that based on the aforementioned events, that Harvey Weinstein was in violation of sex trafficking laws.

On her Web site, per Deadline, Greenfield compared this suit to several unfolding US investigations of Weinstein.

"Everything will be taken care of for you if you relax."

As well as denying allegations of non-consensual sex, Weinstein has said - in a statement issued on his behalf - that "there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances".

The lawsuit was filed this week and because of the additional element of sex trafficking - with Weinstein crossing global borders with Noble - the statute of limitations is increased to 10 years.
