Harrison Ford was a real-life hero on Sunday when, while driving down California State Road 126, he witnessed a woman lose control of her vehicle and swerve into an embankment, fire officials in Santa Paula, California, told ABC News.

The vehicle collided with a tree after rolling over, Santa Paula senior police officer Matt Alonzo told the Ventura County Star.

Indiana Jones to the rescue!

The actor then pulled over and rushed to her side along with other bystanders.

Photos of Ford talking to first responders at the scene began surfacing online.

"He acted as a good Samaritan, just like everybody else, and tried to help before emergency services arrived", Alonzo said of Ford. The woman only had minor injuries, thankfully.

This isn't the first time that the actor has shown quick-thinking and a willingness to help others in potentially risky situations.

The actor was involved in a close call at John Wayne Airport in February when he he mistakenly landed on a taxiway as an American Airlines jet was preparing for takeoff, the Los Angeles Times reported. Back in September, he was captured on video directing traffic in NYC's Midtown Tunnel after cars were stuck in standstill traffic because of a auto crash pile up inside the tunnel.
