Dennis Rodman Offers to 'Straighten Things Out' Between Trump and Kim Jong

Dennis Rodman has detailed his friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the activities the pair take part in when the retired basketball star visits the country.

Rodman also noted how he and Kim avoid the issue of politics.

"I don't love him", Rodman said.

"I just want to try to straighten things out for everyone to get along together", the former National Basketball Association star told "Good Morning Britain" on Wednesday.

Rodman is believed to have visited North Korea at least five times. "Every time I see him, he's always calm, he's always smiling, especially when he's with family", Rodman said.

As his people starve in gulags, North Korean tyrant Kim Jong-un is renowned for his extravagant and luxurious lifestyle.

"If they could sit down and have some kind of mutual conversation and try and start some dialogue, that could open the door just a little bit".

Kim is "just like everybody else", Rodman said.

However, Rodman's potential to broker peace depends a lot on what Trump thinks. But one man has a plan - five-time National Basketball Association champion and rebounder supreme Dennis Rodman.

"We ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing", he continued.

"I'm not defending him, I'm not defending the fact that what he does as far as his country and his leadership". "For me to see him gives me a different view about the country, because I see it".

"Explain to us why you don't think he's a danger and a threat?"

Kim celebrates a ballistic rocket launch.

Rodman, who appeared on Trump's reality TV show "Celebrity Apprentice" twice, endorsed Trump for president back in 2015. I thank Donald Trump for giving me an opportunity to be on his show ["Celebrity Apprentice"], an opportunity to be his friend, and an opportunity to be an American", he said.

Apparently, Kim does not fully trust his personal bodyguards, who were plucked from "Office Number 6" of the Guard Command that protects elites in North Korea.
