The live-action trailer then takes viewers through a montage of action with "Sabotage" from the Beastie Boys thumping in the background.

Nearly exactly three years ago, an impressive live-action commercial for Bungie's video game Destiny debuted, directed by TRON Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski. Except for the Last City. While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan Vogt-Roberts explained how he shifted from doing a huge movie like Kong: Skull Island to making this live-action Destiny 2 trailer.

The Destiny 2 beta has been live on PC for just over two hours, and already, players have run into a couple of problems.

If you have the digital version of Destiny 2 pre-ordered on PS4, it's a 32GB download and pre-loads are now live in North America (they should go up tomorrow in Europe). Alongside three fresh-faced Guardians, players are introduced into an action-packed adventure that will pit players against a psycho rhino named Ghaul, in order to save Earth from the nefarious Red Legion. I'm deeply interested in the relationship between film and video games. The actual mega fans of Destiny need to be able to watch this and say 'I'm proud of this. You are talking about something rather serious (like the world being destroyed) but it's the most hilarious thing you've witnessed in quite some time. It's nowhere near as sombre as it sounds though, because the narrator is Cayde-6, the Nathan Fillion-voiced robot gunslinger who provides much of the comic relief in the shared-world sci-fi shooter sequel. Even if you aren't a gamer, this trailer may be enough to get you playing Destiny 2.
