'The Bachelorette' Season Finale Comes to Dramatic End

  • What to Watch on Monday: Who will Rachel pick in the live 'Bachelorette' finale?

Their televised reunion, which Lindsay's victor and fiance Bryan Abasolo was also watching live, showcased the raw emotion that still remained between Lindsay and Kraus, who was the fan-favorite of Bachelor Nation. But they, too, headed to the fantasy suite. Peter firmly and repeatedly told Rachel he wouldn't propose to her if she picked him because he has some weird marriage hangups. Eric explained that his relationship with Rachel was the first time he has ever been in love and that it was a handsome thing. If Rachel can't accept that, well, he will make a fine star of The Bachelor.

After a lot of cries, she leaves.

Bryan re-proposes on the live show, giving Rachel the ring that for some reason she wasn't already wearing, and the two are publicly engaged.

Romper pointed out that it might be unlikely for Peter to decide to settle down after telling Rachel the opposite. Oh sure, blame the victim. There, Bryan staked his case as to why he loved her.

Back to the show, Rachel gets ready for her date with Bryan. Peter voiced to Rachel that he didn't think he'd be ready to propose which left Rachel with a hard decision to make.

He added, "I want to love you for the rest of my life. Will you be my reina [queen]?" he said. I'm actually not quite sure why she kept him around as long as she did. Peter openly criticizing Rachel's desire for an engagement above all was way better than spending any more time than necessary with Bryan. He explains that he was a boy, but Rachel made him a man (in the Fantasy Suite?).

We get some glorified B-roll of Bryan and Rachel riding horses through the wine country in the Rioja region of Spain. She is smitten. Who wouldn't fall for a guy who called her "Big Rach"?

In the finale, everything focused on the drama between Peter and Rachel.

What did you think about the outcome of The Bachelorette? "I wish you nothing but the best and I really just want happiness for you, that's all".

Ryan also asked about Peter, who said he reached out to Rachel after their dramatic breakup. She points out that it's a pretty lame line of reasoning.

Rachel Lindsay is a 32-year-old lawyer from Dallas, Texas who made history in "The Bachelorette" as the first ever African-American to be cast as the lead of the show. It's sad, but this cute, well-matched couple was basically done in by the very reality show they signed up for.

Lindsay introduced Abasolo to her parents, who honestly expressed their dislike for the suitor. Peter looked visibly upset through the whole confrontation and Rachel admitted that she had been deeply frustrated with how relationship. Part of me was with Bryan but part of me was back in that villa with Peter. Honestly, though, no one can.

"It's so amusing to me, I've never been one to settle or to be desperate for anything...that's why I was 32 and still single", she told Seacrest. No one in America buys this, not even Bryan's mom.

He confirms the story by sharing that he "walked by her eyelashes on the floor for two days", which is gross.
