  • The Overwatch Summer Games 2017 is coming

Overwatch's heroes are back for a brand new iteration of the Summer Games in 2017, but it will only be here for a limited time.

Blizzard announced the return of the Summer Games last week revealing that additional skins along with a Ranked version of Lucioball will be introduced.

A bit. In more serious game balance news, the Summer Games have delayed the latest PTR update, so we consider when it'll go up and what we already know it will contain. Players have often complained that these two characters haven't received much attention when it comes to legendary skins, so the addition of these two new skins for the character will likely please fans of the sniper and hacker characters. It will be easier to do now as well, as old Summer Games skins have a lower price compared to the 3000 credit price tag on new skins. The new epic skins can be purchased for 750 credits, rare cosmetic items for 225 credits, and common cosmetic items for 75 credits. The emote features Ana playing on the beach with a ball. Get your buds, grab a Lucioball, and head to your room to play some Overwatch just as summer is coming to a close.

The previous skin teasers from game director Jeff Kaplan were all confirmed with the exception of Reaper, whom Kaplan didn't mention in the past video. Then there is the Copa Lucioball - a competitive playlist with a placement and ranking.

For players that want to ensure they get the new skins, using in game credits for last year's Summer Games skins may help.
