With Han Solo filming well underway, and Woody Harrelson revealing the name of his character in the film, it's going to be a long and tantalizing wait for the movie's release, now set for May 2018.

Harrelson goes onto describe how his character acts as both "a criminal and a mentor to Han".

I'm sure I'll say this a million times leading up to 2018 but I have mixed feelings about this.

Before the Han Solo spinoff comes out, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released. Lucky for Waller-Bridge, it's her boss - and the boss for everyone in the Star Wars and Marvel universes - who's dropping secrets today. But in addition to that, he dipped a bit into the forthcoming Han Solo Star Wars Story, sharing some plot details that will make you want to avert your eyes now if you want to avoid even the most innocuous of spoilers.

Woody Harrelson gave new details about his character in the upcoming Han Solo standalone. And it sounds like we're getting to see some major parts of his backstory. \"That picks up with Han Solo when he was 18 years old and takes him through when he was 24". Fallon hedged, adding that he knows Harrelson has to be pretty tight-lipped about the upcoming Star Wars film.

Iger also teased the future of "Star Wars" beyond the already-planned films, including "Episode IX" and one more anthology installment.

"In 'Rogue One, ' we created digitally a few characters". And lest you think this is a misreported quote, Variety confirmed what Iger said: "You'll also discover how he got his name". We hope it continues in some capacity and that he won't get in trouble for revealing anything "spoilery" about the Han Solo movie. "\/em About what could be another decade-and-a-half of Star Wars stories, \" says Iger. It stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Woody Harrelson as a criminal and Han's mentor, Beckett, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.

The Han Solo spin-off flies into theaters on May 25, 2018.
