The speculations suggest that the Clippers power forward could possibly land to either of the following National Basketball Association teams: Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls or Orlando Magic.

The Los Angeles Clippers have been very vocal about their stance to keep Blake Griffin playing for them.

However, the Thunder are not the only ones that could acquire Griffin when he leaves Lob City. "However, there are many in the NBA that believe if the Clippers can not get over the top this season, there will be big changes made to ensure the Clippers do not lose star guard Chris Paul to free agency next summer", the Basketball Insider report states.

The 2017-18 season may mark a change of scenery for Blake Griffin if the Clippers fail to make a deep playoff run next season as he has a player option for the 2017-18 season that most people think he'll exercise.

Griffin can become a free agent next year and instead of letting him walk away, the Clippers may want to get the best for his value via a trade.

The Thunder have a truckload of assets to offer in trade, or simply the ability to be the threat in free agency next July that the Golden State Warriors were this summer.

Parent Herald previously reported that Oklahoma City Thunder is also interested in adding Blake Griffin to their roster.

According to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, "The Thunder won't be alone if Griffin hits the open market". This means that the 2016-2017 season would be his last with the Clippers.

There was some renewed talk around the draft, but as Rivers pointed out recently, he's made it clear to teams that talks involving Griffin are a non-starter for the team.

The Magic's offseason has been a freaky one to say the least. In the meantime, speculation on what may be going on in Griffin's head this time next year is all we have.
